Make sure that the New machines hostname matches that of the old one. Or, in
rdadmin manage hosts add a New host by the Name of the New machine and choose
copy settings from the old one.

H. RDAdmin shows the old host name as it appears on the
existing system after I restore the database. I go into hosts and
can edit etc. If I go into LogEdit, it will show logs, and I can
edit them, but if I go into LibraryEdit, it does not show any of the
carts, but they are all loaded

the option I wanted to use is not working, probably because not every
file has that chunk clearly readable..
In the end - after a quick test - I did a batch script.sh with a for
loop taking every file .wav to be resampled, creating a variable CART
as the sub-string of the file name and I do

Followed wiki instructions on migration. Well the database does come
over etc, what I have found comparing database entries before and
after is that the Audio Card from the existing system is populated in
the STATIONS table. Nothing I have found so
