Tell tinkering around with Rivendell learning the ins and outs.
We noticed that if you hit the spacebar in RDAirplay it alternates
between play and stop.
We are concerned about accidental use of the spacebar. I have spacebar
behavior set to "none" in RDAirplay under RDAdmin/edit hosts/RDAirpla
Hi There
I've just recently changed from Rivendell 1.72 to Rivendell 2.20.
I've noticed a very nice feature... I don't know when it came in.
In rdairplay and presumably rdpanel as well. If I put a dark colour on
any of the hotkey buttons... the text colour changes to white...

Well, they do. And let me state here and now that I did not design the
layout of our network, and won't claim this to be the best. All

Correct. All of the RLMs supplied with stock Rivendell support this
functionality. For those rolling their own, the state of the OnAir flag is

In my case, as I said, I'm pretty sure disk I/O is the bottleneck, not
the LAN. and the large transfer I am talking about is RSYNC backing up

We have configuration 1) We don't have dropouts, only delays.
Maybe tweaking configuration files can get the situation better?

Hello,
We use this case, and it works perfectly, with no problem!
Maybe one slight problem, though : if heavily using the Ethernet link
between the two hosts (during a big transfer, for example), we sometimes
experience audio dropouts on the playing machine.
We have not yet investigated whether i

Refer to wiki. All you need is there with samples.
In basic setup, Rivendell only need two things:
1. Air time of imported element
2. File number of element (if applicable).

Hi Hoggins,
We had a similar situation here - two machines both broadcasting Now

Off Air flags do not determine if Now and Next data is transmitted.
However, I made two Macro carts that set the flag to 1 or 0, and also

Hello,
Yes I did try using standard export in PG and PG Music in RD but with no
success. It just doesn't import at all.
I should re-word my question.
I would like to know the field setups for both the export of Powergold and
the import field setup for RD.
IE the offset and length settings in RD

Hello everyone,
We use several Rivendell machines, in different studios, alternately
transmitting on the same program.
Both send their now and next data to the sameserver. This data is then
processed to feed the streaming server and the RDS encoder.
We would like to have a way to set our machines
