Hi guys!
I strongly recommend liquidsoap over darkice.
Darkice has been really unstable when used uver wan connections, specially
along with JACK.
Using liquidsoap under ubuntu 10.04 (old!) compiled from source I'm having
no problem at all.
It's worth to try it.

Hello,
Logcheck keeps throwing this error up on our automation box but I've never
heard anything untoward on air.
As for the audio config, we're using a fairly basic ALSA setup as well
(though as the card isn't 100% compatible with Rivendell, we do have DMIX
in the way.

If you really need Darkice you may need to compile from source.
