Unless presenters are allowed to play the music they choose live with
out it being scheduled, a lot of stations still operate in this way.

We bought one of these in New Zealand from Dick smith to control the
same model switcher... works like a charm after trying unsuccessfully
to get a pci card serial adapter to do the job.

I'd say go with an FTDI deal from Mouser or something like that. I've
found some of the knock-off Prolifics to work great on some devices, and
horrible with other devices.
I've also used a Staples USB-Serial adapter which works great on the
devices the Prolific knockoff doesn't, but works horr
