Hi there,
I am currently living in Kyrgyzstan. My job is to make the technic work
behind a new radio stream for a media ngo that teaches young people to
be (good) journalists.
All low budget / no cost. Because average wage is here about 100 $ a month.
Okay I choosed Audacity, Ardour and Riv
You can also run rdalsaconfig I think it is to update the conf file to the

Yes, it helps to tweak the /etc/asound.conf file
I find that for Intel-chipset based cards it also requires setting the
sample rate in asound.conf
I admit though - I'm not a big fan of USB based audio for anything that
is put into production use. I've run into too many situations where

I banged my head on question 2 for some time, then found some info on
ALSA's home site. This assumes your using 44100 as your RD sample rate/ You
need to tell the rd.conf to force the audio card to your sample rate. I am
using an M-Audio USB 202 device, and it defaults to 48000 Hz, I'm using
44100
We are trying to upgrade to the latest DVD appliance version of Rivendell
and I am having some audio problems.
1. When using the ASI5111 card we are not getting audio out nor an audio
indication in RDAirplay. It is showing up in the HPI config and it is
showing up under audio ports in RDADMIN.
Does the Rivendell Radio Automation System* fully* support the Audio
Science ASI5111?
Is there a mixer?
Skylla by Smarts Broadcast Systems uses the 5111 in a Centos OS. They claim
the cannot use the open Linux drivers.
What drivers does RD use?
Thanks

Solution:
Turn those Codes into Groups. Re-set the Events accordingly.

IIRC, some of the schemas are incompatible with InnoDB. In particular, the
SERVICES table has a 64-character clock name for each hour of the week,
which puts the row size over the InnoDB limit (as described here:

Hello list,
In a near future, we plan to have master-master replication on MySQL,
using Galera for MariaDB. It works really well.
But the system *demands* that all tables are InnoDB, and not MyISAM.
Can someone explain why the InnoDB format is not supported by all the
features of Rivendell (AFAIK

I see Fred talking about the French one, which would be useable.

Thanks for your help

The easiest way will be to create an account at GibHub.com, fork the

I know this has been discussed before, but why isn't it possible for
Rivendell to know the difference between midnight today and midnight

Would it help to be able to insert a line in a log that says "right now

Hey Pedro
your rules are to strict or you don't have playable carts with the sched
codes MAINIDS/RAMPS. You need more material, that rdlogmanager can
fulfil your rules.
