I haven't tried a Raspberry Pi 2, but I did get Rivendell to run on a Hummingboard, which appears to be an Israeli clone of the Pi. IT works very well. I want to use these to build 1 RU boxes I can deploy to World Classical Network stations. The only stumbling block is getting broadcast qu

If you're building 1U boxes anyway, might be worth putting a balanced audio driver chip or transformer in the box. That's what I ended up doing for a little embedded Pi "codec" I built. Ended up being far less costly than a balanced USB card though admittedly more fiddly to build. Regards, Marc.

I have been using a Presonus 1818VSL on our main station for several years now without a hiccup. The labels on the ALSA controls for it on it come up all confusing, but once you work past that, it all seems to work. They sell smaller units as well if you don't need all those channels. I did

Hey this would be a good one. Hopefully the RPI could keep a constant waveform going out so not to cause some sort of mis-modulation calamity. We've been running a full PC with an M-Audio Audiophile-192 doing this for some time now with fabulous results, but using a Windows processing softwar

Hi, For a USB interface that does balanced audio, I've had good luck with the following: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/555-17815 It is based on the TI PCM290x series chipset which I've seen used in other broadcast gear. http://www.ti.com/product/PCM2900/description Admittedly it is lim
