I had this problem and its not just related to the appliance install but no one
seams to be able to work out whats going on but newer updates of Rivendell/
updates in general over write the sound card info its not related to the sample
rate

I have had a few problems with doing the install below but with the rhel6 I
got a semi working system the biggest problem being sound card drivers rhel
7 dosent support older network drivers and if you try in install drivers
manually the install ove

Hi All I am trying to get a mic input on Rivendell but ive come across a

I have a usb sound card that I want to use for the mic input (Voice tracking

in Centos(6.8) the card shows up and I have tested the mic all working well

ts face it no one running a test system is going to go out and buy an ASI
sound card until they know they need it and they are going to use Rivendell, I
would have a very hard time getting the committee to release the funds to buy
an ASI card full stop ...
