Same issue experienced with Rivendell 2.1.2 using alsa on M-Audio 1010LT.

I've also experienced this during voice tracking using alsa on M-Audio
Delta 66 using Rivendell 1.7.2, totally random also...

As for the M-Audio Delta 1010 breakout box, make sure you've got a few
470uf, 63 volt (105 degree) electrolytic capacitors around. There are a
