I really LOVE Rivendell, even though I haven't got our first machine out
there *yet*.
Its just coming from an exclusively Windows environment, it sometime
requires an "entirely new" way of thinking when it comes to Linux.

Have you set up the rd.ini file correctly with ip, user, name of mysql
server?
Have you given the workstation ip address permission to access the mysql
server.
This is done either on a open basis %
on a subset basis 192,168.1.?
or on a individual ip basis
These can also be set different

[our first Rivendell system] in production use.
I found the win32 builds of Rivendell on the workstation shared folder,
and have them installed. However, no matter what I try it cannot
"connect to database".
