I've been running cvs-060304 for some time...obviously. Tonight I had
the weirdest thing happen. Was wondering if anyone could shed some light
on what might have caused this. It's no longer an issue as I've updated
to the latest daily and the problem is resolved though I really have a

Hello my devs!
I could finally successful install the 'sh-elf' crosscompiler on Darwin
7.9. (MacOS 10.3.9). The problem was that in binutils-2.16 I had to
delete 3 '*.m' files in the 'gprof' folder for getting binutils
compiled. And also newlib-1.11 is necessary along gcc-3.3.6 in order to

I immediately jumped to the inference that Linus means
"crediting people ...won't happen again" (from "there" meaning "the above

...he could well have meant, "eschewing creditation ...won't happen again"
I hope that's tongue in cheek BC. Otherwise, props on your blind optimism

Please everyone, don't get up upset by this (I mean, linus, daniel etc.)
