Hi Aleksey,
I very much agree with keeping it clean. I moved my vs_jc branch to a
different server, so please feel free to kill it at ReactOS.

I've recreated it from /reactos/trunk/, as should be the default.

Hi All,
A few months ago, an SVN branch, vs_jc, was created so that I could
experiment with manual creation of Visual Studio solution. I am ready to
start putting files into it, but before I do, I would like to get it synced
with the trunk. Unfortunately, I am not very experienced with SVN (mo

Small nit-pick:
.\reactos\reactos\tools\getdate.exe is being pulled from SVN even though it
is being generated by getdate.cmd and getdate.c that are both in the same
directory?

Hi,
I had forgotten all about BOCHS. It is amazing how many emulators there are on
the market these days.
I think that, for mass appeal, we should try to get ReactOS to run natively.
The problem is that there are basically two types of users of ReactOS:

Hi All,
I had quick chat with Amine and others, and for the time being, I will pick
up where I let off in creating a Visual Studio ReactOS.sln with the
following features:
1. A single ReactOS.sln file that is interchangeable between Visual
Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012.

I would caution everyone to not forget the whole purpose of using Visual
Studio is to make development by Visual Studio users easier, not harder.
Generating .sln files that can be loaded in this way, even if the generation
operation takes less than 1 second, would still result in 800 .sln files.

A question that many have asked is, "Why not port ReactOS to ARM?"
The answer is usually something like,
perty sheets if you'd like some advise on this.
We've already put quite a bit of effort into generating dynamic visual
studio projects, (as this is definitely the only maintainable solution IMO),
so the outputted vcxproj files should lay down a good base for you to work
with.
