If you haven't started yet and it is at all possible, you should get a newer version of Ubuntu going. Support for 9.10 ended about two years ago. 12.04 is a "long term support" release that will keep getting updates until late 2017. By that time you will hopefully have upgraded to 14.04, which

I concur with Kendric, I have run RT on Ubuntu since 8.04. I recently upgraded from 3.4.8 to 4.0.17 and found it much easier to install it from sources on 12.04 than use the repositories. I would suggest a clean 12.04 and install from source. Just my 2 cents... *Paul O'Rorke* Tracker Softw

What happened to the configure --enable-ssl-mailgate option? It is now an unrecognized option in version 4.2. Are the Perl modules required for SSL now included by default? John Apodaca
