Hi Jan,
make sure you didn't forget to clear the Mason cache (/path to your
rt/var/mason_data/obj).
I also forget it sometimes and wonder why my German translations won't work.
;)
Hope this helps!
Have a nice evening!

Thanks Ruslan!
I totally forgot about this function. I guess I'm just to nice to steal
things. ;)
You saved me before getting a lot of headaches, so thank you very much!
Have a nice weekend! :)

Hi all,
I'm wondering how I can change the owner of already assigned tickets. If a
normal user tries to do this, RT says:
'You can only reassign tickets that you own or that are unowned.'
I think this is okay, so I can avoid random assigning to someone else.
Now I tried to change the owner
Hi everybody,
I'm searching for a way to change the subject line of incoming emails to RT.
My problem is the following:
We have a lot of users who are not able to describe their problems in the
email body and use only the subject line instead. So I thought about to
change the behavior of RT to

Good morning,
I'm using mod_auth_kerb with Apache to authenticate our users. The
authentication works fine, each user is recognized by their
userPrincipalName from our AD which is mapped to RT as their username.
This causes to show also the userPrincipalNames in the main navigation bar,

Hi all,
I just got the LDAPImport extension working and would like to import more
user data.
Is there any way to set Custom Fields with LDAPImport? I already tried to
assign some data (with the line Description = 'description' (with my CF
named Description)), but LDAPImport fails, saying:

Hi all,
my RT installation is just a little step away from being absolutely perfect.
I'm currently trying to get a single sign-on behavior for all users in our
network.
Until now, ExternalAuth is working fine, all users can log in with their
credentials, they are recognized in our AD. My
Thank you for the quick response!
Ah, this explains a lot. No wonder why SSO was not working. I'm going to use
mod_auth_kerb for apache, since this does exactly what I want to achieve.
Again, thank you for giving me hints and have a nice day!

Hi all,
I'm just want to know if there are more things I can customize at the RT
interface, not only Page, Header, Page content, Page title and the Buttons.
Otherwise I will just edit the css files like I did RT3.8. But I am just
curious if I can do it directly from the interface. :)
Thank

Hi,
Bugging me for days, I'm sending an email to RT to create a ticket,
the address already exists in the database.
I send it, it fails and I receive back 3 emails

Hi all,
I'm currently just a step away from getting RT to work perfectly.
The only thing I don't understand is why fetchmail does not forward my
emails to rt-mailgate.
Fetchmail is able to transfer the emails from our mailserver to Ubuntu
10.04, where RT is running, but then it does nothing
Hi Rob,
thank you for your fast response!
I was able to solve my problem! :)
It was my fault not to notice that our mailserver runs under Windows and
that its domain is different from the domain of the email adresses. So
fetchmail tried to assign the mailserver domain to the username of the user
