I am having trouble getting check event to work correctly. I have the
following check event setup:
C:\countfiles\checkevt.pl bti-pic:system:10:1:*:*:id:2013
I want to use this to check for low disk space. I know that I can setup
space checks within SA, but I am using this one check to cover all

I'm afraid that what you see is not an SA issue as such but more an OS
feature.

Think I have just found out what is happening. If I have a Windows Explorer

OK, as a test, I shutdown Servers Alive., disconnected all network drives
and rebooted.
I turned on full logging and started Salive. After letting the checks run
through, I could see one additional drive letter in My Computer "c$ on 'IP

As per
a report from Doug, it seems to work fine as long as SA and SAWeb aren't on the
same box. It only blows up when both are running on the same
server.

Ok. I was able to reproduce it and hopefully have the bug

The only script that's changed is common.pl, but you can copy over all the
scripts if you want.

Could it be that this connection was open before SA started?
Can you try to disconnect from it (net use drive: /d) and retest SA for one
cycle?
