Is their a way to have a check page if a server is down after coming out of
a maintenance window? If not, can this be added as an alert option?

Sorry about that log file, I could not find where it is.
All I see is the install.log file in the directory.
I got it working today by turning off my firewall, then running salive using
TCP/FTP as you suggested. Then when I restarted my firewall it seemed to
