What kind of alerts do you want to send, emails?
I had a problem that the provider that deals with the processing of an email
to a GSM SMS message only accepted one recipient in the subject line.

Far better to use the free PSEXEC.EXE tool, which you can get from
http://www.sysinternals.com.
