Netware itself should also have an SNMP agent that gives a lot of info via
the snmp interface.

If you are running netware on compaq hardware, the compaq management
agents provide monitoring of just about everything via SNMP (I assume
other hardware verdors provide the same facility too?)

Hello all,
I'd like to do a little more in depth monitoring for Netware servers.
Does anyone know if there's an add-on for Netware? I'd be interested in
hearing what everyone else is doing for Novell monitoring.
Thank you.

Ok,
So I was thinking I could just create new groups and copy the entries into
them, no joy... When I go into the individual entries it shows that is
still associated with a particular group. I opened the drop down box and

If I open the file my groups are all at the top of the window with nothing
in them with the exception of the last group wherein all checks have been

You don't need to import the v4 hostfile, you can just open it.

Dirk,
Was running ver4.0, ran the update this morning but when I try to import the
old host file I receive a message that the file is in the incorrect format.
Any thoughts? Was working great just before upgrade. I have groups setup
if that helps...

Dirk, I have downloaded v4.1 from one of the other mirrors as I think
the other file could have been in our proxy cache.

That's no v4.1.
It should 10227kb, I just checked on the site and it did have that as size.
Are you using a proxy server? If so it could well be that this proxy still
has the "old" file in it's cache

Dirk, I realised the first point after I pressed the send button.
The file is 8,882Kb, what should it be?

First remark DON'T USE READ RECEIPTS ON A LIST!
Second remark: looking at the UK site the file is the correct one and the
serversalive.exe file that was used did have 4.1 as version. What size was
the salive.exe file you downloaded?

I have downloaded from the UK Mirror web site the latest version, I
uninstalled the previous version and installed the new file but it still
shows the version as 4.0.1376. Is this a problem with the mirror site or
the build number has not been updated in the code?
