Look at using Expect(
http://bmrc.berkeley.edu/people/chaffee/expectnt.html). It's designed for
scripting interactive sessions like telnet. Activestate has a commercial
version as well.

LINEERR_INIFILECORRUPT
And the info I found about this TAPI error (as it's reported back by the OS)
