Sure. This would be a good thing to have. I am in a 911 dispatch center that is geographically split and we have multiple routes between the sites. This would be a great indicator of a hop going down, and verification that the rerouting took place, mainly for the radio  transmit sites; -routed

Not sure if this realy something generic eough to add to Servers ALive. What can be done is that we do a custom dev for this and create a cOM check that checks the route and "saves" it and gives a down if the "current" route is different from the "previous" route. Just let me know if you want an

What about route change detection? Can it also be checked from remote agents too as the source? We have a couple redundant routes in our network setup. Right now our metro-e fiber is the primary route, with a microwave backup. So if I do a trace route from site a to site b, I will go across hops
