That's already within Servers Alive v7.2 (well sort of) If you enter \\%h\sharename (in the CHECK box) then it will use the hostname as defined on the 1st tab of the entry. If you then change the nostname it will still check the share called sharename on that "new" host(name). dirk. On 20
