Yes, I hope to be able to finish it (and installer) this Friday.
That's where I stand now. I have to undo/redo much of the packet
filtering on the system before I can talk to the agent. Locally it works.

Ah, sorry, I misunderstood the whole process then. I thought the new version
used itself as the agent (full SA running on remote server) connecting via
telnet/SSH.

The only agent that we currently have is the nix agent, so what are you testing

Remote agent testing Can you from the *nix system telnet to port 20012 to
itself (using it's own IP, not 127.0.0.1)?
If that is not working then there is something on the *nix system preventing
connections.
