Our Client software used samba protocol
If there is no firewall case , this protocol work properly from remote site.
All of firwall configuration open ( this mean is all of port open ).
Samba work very well, but if some constrain put in, it doesn't work.

UIDs to people that do not already exist. Just create users on your
system first for those people who need login access, then let winbindd

I think the trick is that on NT the user has to be a local administrator
for that machine (not the domain). On NT a common user can not install a
print driver (no matter where it's being installed from), this requires
admin privileges - I believe there is a local printer admin too, if you

I use XFS as my filesystem. (included with SuSE/Mandrake/United Linux, patch avail.
for Redhat and vanilla kernel)
It comes with a very powerful backup tool xfsdump. xfsdump writes the backup level
into each files metadata (i.e. EA - Extended Attributes).
A full backup is a level 0
- 1TB (yes, that's terabyte) of data
- multiple servers backup to one tape drive connected to a server
(preferably a linux system)
