I have a samba file server (192.168.1.2) and wins server (192.168.1.2)
with ~70 clients. The server's netbios names are ALMA and KORTE. The
Workgroup's name is ALMA.
Issue 1:
nmblookup -U 192.168.1.2 -R korte
querying korte on 192.168.1.2

an LPT port. I had been printing to a UNC path. Looks like all my smb.conf

I am having an issue with Samba not allowing locks. I am trying to use
Samba shares as home directories for client PCs. Any lock, for example,
/usr/X11R6/bin/xauth: error in locking authority file
/home/davidd/.Xauthority
Or if I try to start a GNOME session, it pukes because it can't lock.

the user that has locked a file.
Is there a way to see who has locked a file?
