John, thanks once again for the quick reply.

I so sorry, but I don't understand your collocation about your answer.
You managed to join the M3 in Samba PDC, and same time accessing it

Hi folks,
I have an issue that has me shaking my head.
Once a workstation has made the initial connection to a host, things
seem to work well for a day or so. However, if the resource hasn't been
accessed in a while, and then a connection is retried, this following
message is returned:

Hi Eduardo,
Thanks much for all the information you have shared with us regarding the
samba issue.
I used net rpc join command to join into the domain hosted by M1.
I was able to join to the domain successfully.

Shahid Shaikh.
Hi Jamrock,
Thanks for the advice.

Hi Julian,
It is not acting as a domain controller, I would like to use the ldap
backend of the pdc to authenticate instead of having to setup separate
passwords.
I have not reset passwords, its a duplicate database of the pdc.

Shahid,
You used the command 'net join' to join in domain Samba PDC in M3?
My problem is when I join the M3 in domain Samba PDC (M1) with the
command 'net join', after this, I can not access the M3 using Kerberos
authentication.

Doesn't Redhat have documentation and support?
Otherwise go to http://www.openldap.org/ and read the manual and
perhaps ask questions on their mailing list.

Hi,
I've searched the list, and I can't find reference to this being
implemented:
reverse veto files - a list of files *allowed* rather than
the current list of files *denied*. Possibly implemented by
just allowing a ! in the veto files directive.
eg:
veto files = /!*.png/!*.gif/
= only allow

It's hard to me, because I'm new to ldap. I add users with smbldap-useradd

getent passwd
