Hi,
After upgrading one of my samba servers from ubuntu jaunty (3.3.2) to
karmic (3.4.0) I cannot access the shares any more.
The server (FINTLEWOODLEWIX) is set up to check authentication via a PDC

Hi,
I've been through a long discussion of this on the CentOS list, where people
are quite helpful, yet we've gotten nowhere with it.
With smbd Version 3.0.33-3.14.el5 on two different CentOS 5.4 64-bit boxes,
"/etc/init.d/smb start" reports OK for both nmbd and smbd, but an instant

I don't mean to be difficult, but, if I read the smb.conf man page correctly,
this means that all jobs printed through Samba to CUPS will be held
indefinitely. This is not the behavior I'm looking

If you set it for a user with pdbedit, does that work? you could
probably set it for all users with a shell script.
