I'm looking for a tool, which is recovering deleted files of a samba share.
It has to recover files, which were deleted from the windows user in a samba
share.
I want to recover the deleted files on the samba server 3.0.13.
My samba file sever is a SuSE 9.3. The clients are XP,s and

I got this errormessages creating an user with
smbldap:
linuxamd64:~ # smbldap-useradd -a -m -P franz
failed to add entry: no structuralObjectClass operational attribute at
/usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd line 279, DATA line 283.
failed to add entry: No such object at
I was on the wrong way at troubleshooting after days.
The point was the .pl after /usr/sbin/smbldap-useradd.pl -w %u in smb.conf.
After deleting .pl workstation2 is fine ingested in domain.

I can not create a filename with _ character inside the name in my windows
xp client homedrive. This must be possible under windows.
That must be something to do with the unix/samba charset.
