[Samba] smbd -D hangs

I'm testing both sunfreeware and official sun (sfw) samba on Solaris 10. For some reason since yesterday, the smbd process just hangs at the start. No log is generated on server side Where smbd is started, I can't find any open port on 139 or 145 My OS is Solaris 10 # uname -a SunOS labo2

[Samba] passwd chat timeout?

having entered confirmation of the passwd, but it takes about 2 seconds in order to have it. Has Samba doesn't detect immediatly the chain successfully, it tries agin to send the passwd, and then failes.. Is there a way to force samba to WAIT for the chain successfully? Thanks Laurent BLIN

I've resolved my problem, compiling samba with -g option in order to use gdb. The pb was samba was detecting ldap v2 on my ldap server, and could'nt set it to ldapv3. Actually, the dynamic librairies used by samba are located in /lib, and not /usr/lib. And under /lib, there were old (!!)
