I have a share printer use cups and samba to support about fifteen people,
some people use the printer very well, but serveral people have some
problem with the share printer.
when you add the the printer first time you can print without any question,
but it doesn't work the second time,

why don't you make or use accounting software for linux.. ??
it save you the problem's..
got some examples for you, but this version uses mysql.. ?
(combined with the mysql passwd backend...)

with my printer. On Windows 2000, when I'm trying to print on my print
server (samba), i get the following status on windows in the printer
