There is no secret. Just set up your printer so it will print from the
server. The queue which accepts the print job should be able to handle
postscript formatted files.
Then, set up a samba share to direct files to this printer queue. On the

I have an HP laser connected to a Red Hat 7.3 server and I would like to be
able to share the laser so that I can print to it from Windows clients. There
is no X on the server so I will have to use the CIF.
I have read the Red Hat documentation but it mostly refers to the GUI tools.

I've got an printer setup that I need some help with. I've got an
NT 4 workstataion that has a printer attached to it (\\nt4ws\print) this

Why yes, actually. I have a server making drivers available for client
download on WinNT 4.0 and 2000 Professional clients.
Everything I needed was in an HTML doc file I found in the source
directories. I think the name was printdrivers_2.html or something
similar. Give that doc a try, set the
Has any had success using Samba as a PRINT SERVER and

Any input would be appreciated,
