[sane-devel] avision backend - HP 7400c - great!

2017-05-24 Thread Herr Oswald
Hello friends, I'm very happy that I find my HP 7400c - avision backend - fully functional at my ubuntu 16.10 box again. Just adding ppa:rolfbensch/sane-git and updating the system/sane did the trick. Up to now no single failure - coloured or b&w, single or multiple pages - everything works fine.

All, Upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04. And was using gscan2pdf when I realized that I could not scan in any other mode than color. Previous version, 10.04 Ubuntu, I could scan in all three modes, color, line art & gray scale. This does not appear to be the case with the sane-backend 1.0.22 installed.
