Scientific Linux 7 ALPHA rc.local doesn't work. Any solution?
I tried the following:
chmod 755 /etc/rc.d/rc.local
ln -s /lib/systemd/system/rc-local.service
/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/rc-local.service
systemctl enable rc-local.service
Useful package *xfig* is absent.

But blas-devel and lapack-devel texinfo-tex unavailable in epel

It will be any solution in SL7.0?

Something happened with Linux.
Please check this problem carefully
In the beginning of boot from local media, echo Scientific Linux *5.7
*64 bit will be installed.
Why update to latest still doesn't work to 6.3 ?
1. *yum clean all*
2. *yum --releasever=6x update*

I run yum update to latest on SL5.0. After successful update to SL5.8
some packages disappeared such as mysql-server and php support.
Can somebody explain such strange behavior?

1) When the SL6.3 is expected? Centos 6.3 already exists.
2) When I run update from Centos I also updating the release number.
For example:
from Centos 5.2
yum update
I'll get Centos 5.8
and SL doesn't raises the release version ?
