As I surf, Keith, I'm watching Today. They did a story early in the broadcast,
suggesting that McCain's choice of Palin was less for actual merit and more as
a vehicle to draw attention away from McCain. In that context, the choice makes
perfect sense, because all the talk is now about her.

How sad is it that a candidate for office has to select a running mate to draw
attention away from himself. As we used to say back in the olden days, What a
