The future is already here. Add a little more speed and it could be a viable alternative. Comscum just added interactive tv to their system here. Which basically allows you to buy the stuff that you see on the home shopping network. Not good for impulse buyers. Sounds like Huxley was right again!

I thought the first season of B5 was good. Lots of setup there: the introduction of Mr. Morden, the first appearance of a Shadow vessel (barely seen), an appearance of one of the other First Ones ships, the slow buildup of tension with Earthgov--it's a great foundation for what came later.
