Last week I discovered I had a cable channel called American Life Channel or
some nonsense like that. They show Green Hornet regularly! So I watched my
first full episode. Dude. I TOTALLY get it. I¹m too young to have ever seen
the show when it aired, and I really don¹t remember it being in
Green Hornet was meant to be serious, as opposed the camp-heavy Batman series.
Hornet was cool and mysterious, Kato a tough little fighting machine. Most of
us who do remember the two series most definitely liked Hornet over Batman.
There is a classic--classic--two part Batman where Hornet and
(sigh) I am counting the days when I can switch from Comcrap to another
provider...

Batman and the Hornet? Who knows, but Robin and Kato was a no-brainer! The
fight was definitely fixed! Or Kato was playing with him knowing he was a good
guy...That's as much facesaving for Robin as I will allow...
