The sb-menu and sb-conf tools are exclusive to Scratchbox 1.0 (and
Apophis) branches.
In the legacy branch (pre-1.0), sbox-config is used.
The Apophis r4 release includes a support for legacy toolchains (in
addition to repackaged Apophis versions of those toolchains). If you
want to avoid the bug

Yes, but if one has to use the older version because of other application
library uncompabilities.
E.g. if one has to use only Maemo sputnik the old software.
And, however after installing 0.9.8 really manually, there implications to tool
sb-menu or sb-conf which doesn't
exist in the pack
