I like the one by Shon Harris: CISSP All-in-One Exam Guide
Like always, I don't recommend that it's the ONLY study guide you use (I've got it,
the one by Kreutz and Vines, a whole boatload of RFCs printed out, etc).
To me, the Harris book is better.

The only exception to the below being that if you are acting "as an
agent of law enforcement" (i.e. the police put you up to it), there are
no current LEGAL ramifications for doing it.
However, you NEED to notify all individuals via that logon banner that
their activities may be monitored in a va
to do your job to the best of your abilities. If
others are hindering/prohibiting you, it's a management issue.

Doesn't SMTP authenticate in clear text? If so, you would definitely
want to encrypt the traffic from user to server.

I have Road Runner (I know...ick..hack...barf) and I see a lot of DNS
connections going to local broadcast addresses (68.39.224.255 using your
example). Could this be it?
