Hi All - As per the suggestions I had the radiator redone. Still overheats
pretty quickly. I checked the thermostat and it seems pretty good.
What would a sympton of a bad water pump be?
I was thinking of replacing that.

I missed the first letter/letters of this thread. If you're overheating and have heat
inside the car, the pump is working. Does the thermostat open at the proper
temperature? Does the cooling fan work? Ive had one car have problems with
overheating that wasn't due to a head gasket. ALL
Have a few things for sale. Items located in La Porte TX.
- 2 piece TII intake manifold...includes fuel rail, regulator, injectors and
harness. Mechanical parts/harness in unknown condition (picked it up out of
a junk yard and never used it). Appears to be in good condition. $150 +
shipping.
If the thermostat is opening, check the radiator or fan. The thermostat only
lets the radiator do its work, if it can't remove the heat you will
overheat.

As long as they come from the same manufacturer, for example all the super
60 cams were made by Competition Cams, so they should be identical. If you
have an MP S60 cam and replaced it with another that had the same specs but
was manufactured by, say, Cam Dynamics, then it would need to be degreed
