Turbo starting making a strange humming sound when I let off the gas a few
days ago. About the same time I noticed my vac/boost gauge is happily
residing on zero.
I know nothing of how the stock gauge works (is the one in the center of the
dash).
Suggestions on how to make it work again? Not
Car located in Columbia, SC.
Straight body, needs paint and some TLC. Strong running 2.5 T1 w/5spd.
Used for daily 100 mile commute the past year...very reliable. Nice
car. Approx 110K miles.

Hello All-
I have recently relocated to the panhandle of Florida. While out
driving around last Saturday, I saw an 87 GLHS Charger at a
garage in DeFuniak Springs, FL. For those interested, it was at
a garage near the east end of town, right on US90 on the north
side of the road. Donna
I built my own from copper tubing (a T, a 45 degree bend and some
straight tubing) Cut it all to fit and soldered it together. Used a
couple pieces of rubber hose with a pair of thin clamps to hold it all
in place.
Works much better.
Otherwise, I believe FWD Performance sells them.

I removed the factory Air Filter Box completely. In place of the Hose beginning at
the inter cooler then entering the Air Box( a straight through design)
