take out the bad piston and take it to the machine shop. They weigh it and get the part number and replace it. Buy a ring set and replace it. Hypereutectic pistons are clearanced different than cast Mahles or forged pistons. So you can't just buy different pistons. If the car has little mileage on

Actually stock spec is 55psi +/- intake pressure. So at idle (15 inches or so) with the vacuum line connected it would be about 45-46 psi of fuel rail pressure. At 11psi the fuel pressure is 66psi to counteract the boost pressure in the intake pushing against the injector. Best Regards, Stefan M

It should be 55 +- manifold pressure. So if you were at idle with the vacuum line still connected to it, 40 would be about right assuming normal idle vacuum. Usually you pull the line to test the regulator. If you are a little off at idle. I would assume it would be the regulator, not the pu
