Fellas:
I'm new to turbo fwd Dodges. For fun, I recently bought a nice 86
GLHT and I've been looking for gauge pods. I have three gauges that need
a home: EGT, A/F and manifold pressure. What is the difference between
the 2-door and 4-door l-body pods?
Tim
Chris I dropped the project years ago due to the fact that 80% of the people
who spoke up never put up. Weird since my project was for the P-body and
more guys have P-body's on this list that anything else. Good luck.

Yes, easily. Years ago, I installed a set of headers on my 76 Aspen R/T. We
didn't touch ANYTHING electrical. After getting them all bolted up, I pushed
in the clutch and fired up the car - no problem. Started to let out the
clutch and the engine died. Tried it again, same thing. We hunted for
A few days ago I described to everyone, my engine just konking
out,everyone
said its probably the wires fatiguing that come out of the distributor. I
pulled the old coil and indeed one of the wires was bent, and there was a
little
slit in the insulation, with a lot of play.

Good Evening,
The car is my '90 Daytona Shelby. The turbo went on me, as I mentioned, and
I am trying to make sure that there are no external causes. I picked up an
oil pressure tester at NAPA.
At idle I get 53psi of pressure. If I rev the engine to something that
sounds like about 4K to me,
Yep, its 10psi per 1000rpm. What weight oil are you running? What oil
pressure relief spring are you running? Do you have the oil restrictor
in the block? Try reducing the amount of oil going into the oil feed
for the turbo. I think a washer or perhaps a drilled out jet threaded
into the
I carry a spare HEP (distributor pickup plate) in the trunk along with a
phillips screw driver - just in case.

You might try swapping in some 0w-20 oil. Maybe the pressure will come
down to a sane level. Running the really small oil filter these
engines normally came usually helps limit oil pressure too. ;)
Whatever you end up doing, keep us posted, I'm curious which trick
will do the job.

Did CD have a response to any of the letters? If so what did they have to

My issue of Car and Driver came today.
I have a custom Fluidyne aluminum radiator in my Shelby Z which is larger
