water in the cables my friend that's the problem the boots on the ends of
the cables have broken so water gets in and freezes, only thing you can do
it get at the cables I recommend going thru the drivers side wheel well and
spraying WD40 with the little rip tip down the tubes to get rid of the

Seems most of these guys didn't read what you said about not wanting to
change speedometers. At my speedometer shop (about an hour from me) they sell
ratio adapters. They are used if you are running odd tires on your car or you
changed the final drive or something. They offset the outp

360 in it with the Shelby Performance computer. The problem is my trans,
because of the Shelby Computer the engine rev-limiter cuts out at 4800

which freezes. Eventually muscle-ing the shifter will break a cable or
a cable end. I think if you check out some of the bike or boater shops
you might find a suitable replacement cable seal The tricky part will

proper size pipe for the 3" inlet, it is >directly< over the speedometer plug,

Hello all. I tried to open the hood on my 90 spirit yesterday and while the
hood pull seemed to work (it pulled out and I heard a "ping" telling me that
it unlatched) I went over to open it and it's still locked. I had to have
my wife pull on the lever while I lifted up on the hood to get it past

I had trouble getting my mount out from the car. I felt if I dropped the
tranny any lower, I'd be damaging the passenger side mount. I had to remove
the front mount bracket off the chassis completely as well.
