the chrysler premium sound cassette player for 1987 with joystick is a
mitsubishi unit,
the chrysler infinity ll cassette player with surround sound and push button
EQ. with light up LEDs is a mitsubishi unit,
the chrysler slave CD player that is stand alone and mounts below the
infinity l

some of the later infinity cassette players called the infinity gold with 5
band slide EQ. are actually made by Alpine. tho i have seen several of these
units look identical and some were made by alpine, and some were made somewhere
else since the insides of the players were not the same
Just a bit more info that might be helpful. I put a late 90s Chrysler Infinity
Radio, CD, Cassette player into my '89 Daytona. Fits and plugs right in. Had
problems with the CD player. When I took it to a local repair shop that
specialized in factory units I was told that the CD part was made by

is available complete (with intermediate shaft and support bearing)?? If
not, what is the best way to remove the int. shaft from the axle so as to
not damage the support bearing?

well gang I got some quality time with my 86 turbo Z this evening, and a
little bit better look at my transmission knock sounds. Of course I haven't
checked the flywheel bolts yet, I ran out of daylight, but the top shield
between
the engine and trans looks a little beat up, but it's beat out
