Update: I lent the car to my brother in law and before he even got it out
of the driveway he had damaged the transmission reverse gear. It
makes a very bad noise while going in reverse. Going forward it
sounds OK but something is damaged in the transmission so I
wouldn't drive it for any
Hi,
I was talking with someone yesterday who had a 84 Scamp GT
with a turbo I he installed. He mentioned that the Scamp was
500 lbs lighter than my GLH-T. I thought my GLH-T was around
2000 lbs but he said his Scamp was around 1900 and my GLH-T
was around 2400. Anyone know the weights of these
I'm selling my white 91 Shadow Convert T1 5sp. White.
Overall it's in fair/good condition. I drive it several times
a week. Here's what I've done to it:
- AM/FM/CD
- 89 Shadow ES high back buckets installed. Driver's side is power.
- White Ninja wheels with 2 new tires.
- 4 spoke leather
Hi,
I'm considering a 95 Neon with a broken timing belt. Is this
an interference engine? I know our 2.2s are not.
Thanks,

Hi,
I had a miss that I traced down to a FI not working all the time.
When I disconnected the harness from the 4 injectors I saw that
all of the contacts are green with copper corrosion. I can put
a small file on the injectors themselves and clean them but the
plugs are too small. Is there a
it at some Radio Shack's stores.

Hi,
What's the best head gasket to use for a 2.5 turbo these days?
I know some are no longer available.
Thanks,
Ed

Hi,
I'm trying to remove the fuel line on my 91 Shadow. It's
of the newer quick disconnect variety. The manual
implies it should be simple. Just press on the black
plastic ring underneath it. You *may* need to use an
open end wrench.
Well I've been trying. I get it some of the way I think

Hi,
I will be converting my GLHT to a A555 and have a cable shifter
and shadow cables to make the conversion. But, I've also heard
thatI can use the existing but converted rod shifter for the
A555.
Who again does this?
What are the pros and cons of each way? I guess I'm most

Hi Steve,
The first thing I would try before replacing the compressor, etc.
is adding a few ounces of R-12 oil to the system. It may be all
that it needs. It comes in a small can with R-12 as a propellant
and you add it to the low pressure side just the same as R-12.

To my knowledge, there is no such things as a 89-90 Shadow convertible.
You'd better check exactly what car that ECU was from.
91 was the first year for the Shadow Convertible and they had
SBECs.
