This talk of shelby values reminded me of an ad I saw a year or 2 ago in a local buy
and sell publication which is distributed weekly throughout central Ontario. If i
remember correctly the vehicle was an 89 daytona shelby w/ t-tops, leather guts &

ive been contemplating taking on this project for a few monthes now. we got an awd
caravan in for scrap at the auto recyclers where i work and id just like to know if
anyone has ever attempted to take the driveline from the van and put it in a car. id
like to do it with a 4banger tu
ive only been on the list a little more than a year so
i havnt seen the idea tossed around. but hearing that
no one has done it makes me wanna do it more.hehe. i
thought about that driveshaft issue and i know that
the awd caravan here(and i think most if not all) come
under the grand caravan/voyage
now im starting to warm up to the idea of the dual
enigine design for my already half stripped daytona
c/s ags. the fiero style rear would probably be the
best bet and just fabricate a rear firewall somewhere
around where the rear seat sits. daytonas are great
for all that trunk room:) the concept
so anyways, i think the deciding factor for me in this single/duel engine debate would
be daily drivability and if you wanted to put the car on the road and/or retain a
stock or near stock appearance. or if you were strictly using this as a racer. it
would be hard to keep a stock looking car wit
my 89 daytona cs ags is curently sitting in the recyclers yard where i work and is
pretty stripped down. basically its just the shell. this was my first car of my own
and i wasnt aware of its rarity when i started stripping it, i had intentions of
putting it back together, but im sure you all kn
one other thing about my ags. it didnt come with the rear disc brakes, but had drums.

hey everyone
a guy came in to the auto recyclers where i work today
with an 89 daytona shelby that was almost identical to
mine except his has t-tops and a/m rims as well as a
few other not-so-visable mods. but anyhoo, he had
opened up his tailamps and apparently the red pieces
for the brakelights
"it looked pretty neat to me, but im more into the stock appearance of my car so this
isnt for me but i just thought that some of you guys and gals might want to try this as
its pretty sharp looking."

i have a small problem that ive come accross on my daytona R/T. i bought the car used
from a scrap yard that was closing because the owners were getting older and didnt
want to run the place anymore. but anyways they had some contract with chrysler canada
and got all the dealer buy

Anyone know the ratio of 1992 Dodge(made for US
market) Daytona IROC R/T's to 1992 Chrysler(made for
Canadian market) Daytona IROC R/T's? I have one of the
latter vehicles and going by how many more cars are
usually made for the states (MPH on the speedo ect.)
than for Canada, one would think that
niether my '89 daytona shelby or my '89 daytona c/s ags had an airbag. the ags
was was so stripped down of every wieght saving part it wasnt funny, no a/c no
airbag, no power anything. the only thing was the rear spoiler.

anyone see the article on our cars in the toronto sun on sunday? or the
