Does the water activated grip tape work?  Saw it in a catalog and was wondering. Yes, it works (not very well) plus it's more expensive, requires mixing water with a little dish detergent and I found it's messy. To the writer of " I use Bar-B- Que Lighter fluid".  I will quote my friend in the in

Harold:   Speaking of heat containment, I forgot to mention that I set the lamp on a cookie sheet to help shield some of the heat from the top of my workbench.  I don't put anything on the plywood wallboard behind the clubs.  I find it doesn't get as hot as the benchtop.   Chris Burns   -

Chris: Thanks for the info! I think this method will be safer than the Electric heaters I have been using. I use a cement fiber board as a back stop behind the clubs to somewhat contain the heat with a thermometer attached. HStill   - Original Message - From: Chris Burns Sent: Friday, Augu

Harold:   I use one of those yellow self-standing halogen lamps that you can buy at most hardware stores.  The lens on it is 4 1/2" x 6" and I'm pretty sure it's got a 500W bulb in it.  I keep the front of the lamp at least 12" from the row of clubs being cured.  The heat will usually spread

It's summer in NJ. I just put them in the garage and let them bake there. :-) Just got in from a very hot, humid round. When I returned to the car, the thermometer said the outside temp was 102F. Ouch! I'll be watching to see what the answer is. I'll need it in not too many months. Cheers! Dave

Try www.clubfinders.net.   I've used them to locate some replacement clubs for customers.  Be sure you are very explicit about what you are looking for...i.e. right down to the logos and markings on the clubhead.    Royce -Original Message-From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL
