My first Ping reshaft was done before Dynacraft sold the inserts.

I have a couple of Callaway BJ Hickory Stick putters. As you probably know, they have
a wooden shaft with a steel shaft that runs down the middle of the wooden shaft. What
would be the best way to cut it down to the proper size I want? I have a pipe cutter,
but it's only going to cut so deep.
I have many face inserts. Stocked up years ago when they were a popular repair. If you could send me a tracing of the insert cavity, perhaps I could match you up.
