All of what TFlan said was my experience. I'll also have to caveat it. Mike finally sent me everything that I was due. I think the putter attachement came two years after I ordered the machine. He also sent me a new bending bar, because he had abandoned the old design. I didn't expect a new bar.

Since GS publishes the shaft insertion depth, I'd take a slightly undersized bit and drill it out. Wrap masking tape around the drill bit to indicate the depth you want. Make sure that you leave a 1/2-inch "flag" of tape after you have wrapped the drill (i.e., don't wrap the entire length of tape
