My wife used to be a nurse and they used bifocals that were placed at the
TOP of their glasses. I hadn't thought of that but maybe that would be a
help for reading the score card! Right now in our seniors group we all try
to shove the job of score keeping off on the other players.

I have to cut the glare on an aluminum mallet putter. I have always heard
gun blue is the thing to use, so I went to Wal-Mart to get some. Their
package of Birchwood-Casey PermaBlue says it will not work on stainless
steel, aluminum, or other non-ferrous metals.
Seems like paint will have a

Sight Black (for darkening gun sights) may work, but it wears off.

Good thing you read the gun blue package!
Rub the aluminiun with a scotch brite pad. Rub in one direction not in circular motion. This will create a satin non glare finish.
Don, Birchwood-Casey also makes a "blue", or more appropriately a blackening agent for aluminum, brass, and other non-ferrous metals. You may have to go to a sporting goods store which sells guns to find it but it works great on aluminum. You can apply it over and over to get the color of black
Does anyone have a web site for the Remax long

Craig, thanks! A few clicks of the mouse and I have
it coming from Bass Pro Shops. $4.49 plus $3.95 s/h,
which is good enough considering the alternative of
driving around.
It's called Aluminum Black.
