My wife used to be a nurse and they used bifocals that were placed at the TOP of their glasses. I hadn't thought of that but maybe that would be a help for reading the score card! Right now in our seniors group we all try to shove the job of score keeping off on the other players. DeanS -

Good thing you read the gun blue package! Rub the aluminiun with a scotch brite pad. Rub in one direction not in circular motion. This will create a satin non glare finish.

Don, Birchwood-Casey also makes a "blue", or more appropriately a blackening agent for aluminum, brass, and other non-ferrous metals. You may have to go to a sporting goods store which sells guns to find it but it works great on aluminum. You can apply it over and over to get the color of black
