Karen,
Not sure if you've considered this but its caught my interest as of late and

Hi everybody,
Hope warm weather is getting to everybody. I'm trying to help out one of the
kids that works at my local golf club, he was wanting to sell his 905R driver
to gather funds to reshaft his irons, I checked it out and he had cracked the
stock YS6 shaft. I'm looking for a shaft to repl

John,
My first 9 degree, I had a Bryant Brothers Solution stiff, traded that out
for an R.
Then when I got the DB version, I didn't want to mess with the orginal cause
it hit so well, so I used an Sk Fiber Pure Energy I had, with intentions of
later moving the solution into it. But now my golf
John,
It does play great, extremely solid clubhead. Whilst I was contemplating a
new driver head, I played a few of the demo clubs my club's proshop had,
Titleist D2, I played a couple of these for several rounds in different shafts
and
flexs, and to me Titleist has always made solid clubs, an
quick question, I just happen to have one of those 3Rs on the bench now,
what's the tip size? the oem chart from the golfworks website says .335, hard
to
believe Titleist/Cobra didn't put a taper in it, I have a .335 in stock but
would have to wait if it takes a .355.

I've never found the sweet spot on my 715. Hits good but never that hot feeling, I'm convinced weight control is hype.
Anybody know of a component driver head 460cc's with offset? I've seen golfworks 420 but not a 460.
Thanks,
Martk
I picked up a set of Pelz wedges at a used shop last year and let a friend use them, I started using them this year and WOW they are good, they are PW 50deg 5.0 shaft, SW 55 deg 4.5 shaft, LW 60 deg. 4.0 shaft, I was pleasingly surprised with the performance, they have a milled face, deep grooves (

I have a black Golfworks golf club swingweight scale, the $200 one, and its part tray is missing, anybody have one? or know how much the replacement part is from Golfworks? The person I got it from had rigged a counterweight to hang off the end to bring the scale back to zero, if you have one what
Thanks Dave, that's exactly the info I was looking for.

Hi all,
A couple years ago, I traded for a set of Wishon 550c's shafted with Aldila
Tour Gold 85 stiff shafts. I'm really better fitted with regular flex but
couldn't pass up the deal. They have been great clubs, these shafts have the sst
"pured" labels.
I have been losing distance and wit
Tom,
I had a similar thing happen to me a few months ago, I had a Wishon 915 CFE, 420cc, 12 degree in the bag for over 2 years, fantastic club, every new driver came out I'd try and none ever impressed me enough to consider changing. A member of my regular saturday foursome came with a new driver,
Jen,
I'm hitting the 550c's too, I didn't use the 3 or 4 for almost a year, then one day I got out at the range with some impact tape and a little experimenting and WOW, they are very hitable, especially if your having good succes with the other irons.
I also built a 4 and 5 -321Li for my nephew,
Donald,
Yes I did and there lies the rub, and takes us back to the beginning of the discussion, where I learned they are only estimates and not really that acccurate, each of the 2 or 3 programs I tried returned different results.
Thanks,
Mark
Alan,
I really appreciate your input on this, after doing searches for the subject in the forums I can see that you understand my dilema.
I the first variable working against me is the use of graphite shafts, standard headweights require quite a bump in headweight to use graphite, but because of
Dave,
Thanks for replying, using 1/2" length increments, that would be:
6 iron- D1
7 iron- D1.5
8 iron- D2
9 iron- D2.5
I'm real curious as to what the Wishon software model would bring back as suggested headweights to get an MOI match. Is the formula they use calculated or adjusted by act
Alan,
The formula I have is SW=(L*(H+S/2)-14*(H+S)-10*G)/50 and MOI=(L*L)*(H+S/3).
Doing it the way I had it calculated the sw difference between the 6 and 9 iron would be 1.8 points.
Thanks,
Mark
Tom,
Thanks for checking but I'm wanting to get an MOI match, giving it priority over swingweight.
Anybody with an MOI calc?
Thanks..
Hi everybody,
I'm wanting to MOI match a set of irons, 6, 7, 8 & 9.
Using a spreadsheet I created with a formula for MOI that was circulating recently, I came up the the following headweights to match the the rest to the 8 iron at D-2.
6 iron- 268 gms
7 iron- 276 gms
8 iron- 284 gms
9 iron- 29
Alan,
I play Wishon 550c's and love em, the head is a little smaller, thin topline,
low offset, and have the feel of forged, they just feel great. They might be a
little less forgiving on mishits, but are laser like on good strikes. They are
a great looking head. Checkout their website and see
Hi Jay,
Don't think you would come across the need using new components, seeing how heads are at the low side, the most common problem nowadays is getting enough weight at the head end to accomodate lighter shafts and shorter lengths and increase swingweight to the D2 range.
But lets say you did n
