If you have to drill it out, use a small drill to come in from the bottom of
the hosel. Use a drill bit that matches your smallest pin punch or in a
pinch, a finishing nail will do the trick. Drill the hole and use the pin

Some folks have had success in drilling out the ball I have not
so turn it over and drill a small hole in the hosel and punch out the
ball. Fill the hole with epoxy and buff it smooth you will never see it
while you're putting.
